Hello Crafters!
Happy day to you! I hope you are enjoying this beautiful day! My weather right now is very springlike! It makes me happy and really getting out of the winter blues! I can’t wait to get out in my yard and do some spring cleaning and get some planting done! My husband and I have already planted a bunch of seeds inside. We picked up a little green house that we put in our kitchen area this time of year. We have awesome windows in our kitchen so its the perfect area for growing. Do you guys like to plant seeds? Do you like to garden? Let me know in the comments, I would love to know!
So yesterday was my weekly Facebook live and I made another fun fold card! I used the Silly Goose Stamp Set. That set is so cute! I had this set for a while but hadn’t played with it until yesterday! This fun fold is so easy too!!
I used the masking paper to cover the goose and then applied Coastal Cabana using a small blending brush. It makes that goose pop right off the front of the card!
I used Coastal Cabana for the card base. You need a piece cut 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 and you need to score on the 8 1/2 inch side at 3, 6 and 7 1/4. You also need a piece cut 3 by 8 1/2 and score at 4 1/4. This piece is the front panel with the goose on it. You can customize the size of this piece. You can make it as wide as you would like to fit your design. You would still make it 8 1/2 long and score on 4 1/4.
I used Enjoy The Journey Designer Series Paper on this card. I liked the piece with the clouds so that is the one I choose. I used the back side for the little strip in the front. I used Mango Melody Stampin Blend on the beak and feet and I like how it matched with that DSP! You guys notice the die cut?
Yup that is the Radiating Stitches Dies! I am obsessed with those dies! Have you purchased them yet? I know you will love them if you have not added them to your collection! I love how this die fit perfectly on the front of this card.
When you open the card you will find this little surprise on the inside! I just love those two giving each other goose bumps! Wouldn’t this be a fun card to give to someone for their birthday? I have included my Facebook live if you would like to see how this card was created. I have also included a list of all the supplies I have used to create this card.
Thanks for checking in today and reading through my blog. I am enjoying getting back to blogging again and I am looking forward to my next post already. Stay tuned……..
Chris 🙂
