Hi, Guys!!
Happy Friday and Happy Veteran’s Day. A big Thank you to all our past, present and future service men and women. You are truly appreciated each and every day.
So today I tried to film a video several times throughout the day however my children had the day off of school so I was interrupted several times throughout the day. So I made two birthday cards both for my nieces who’s birthday parties are tomorrow. One card that I was trying to do a video on is a shaker card pictured here
I just love how this turned out. I made it with my Cricut machine and cut craft foam for the first time. I always get a little nervous when I cut something other than card stock from my Cricut even though I know it is made to cut all kinds of stuff. I will do a video this week showing you how to do a shaker card. The other card I made was very simple but loved how it turned out too. Here is a picture of that one too
Both of these cards I embossed and I have to tell you guys that I have been embossing for years. I love what it adds to a project. I always have had an issue with the embossing powder sticking everywhere. I have tried rubbing a dryer sheet to prevent static but it never worked I kinda just did my best to try to remove any unwanted powder, I often used a paint brush. I ordered the embossing buddy from Stampin Up and it works Awesome. I have not had one issue with embossing powder sticking anywhere other than where it is supposed to stick. You can order it here
I also used Happy Birthday, and the border from the Stamp Set Tin of Cards from Stamping up. You can order it here
What a great universal Stamp Set Tin of Cards is. I just received an order from Stampin Up the other day and I am super excited to start creating with it. I ordered the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies which are so awesome. I will do a video shortly with a project or two using the Stitched Shapes Framelits. When you order Stitched Shapes Framelits you will get 25% of a select stamp set through November 30. You can order here
Happy Friday!!
