Hi, Guys!
Happy Thursday!! I hope everyone has enjoyed their Thursday! I know I did. My kids are still in school with Tomorow being a half day so I was able to go out to lunch today with my Best friend. We had to catch up, its been a while since our last get together.
My boys are so super excited for Christmas. My little guy asked me last night if he could borrow some of my supplies to make Christmas cards for all his classmates. How cute and so proud I felt of him. He was making his cards while I was working on 55 goodie bags for his and his brother’s classmates.
These goodie bags were pretty simple. I usually put more detail on them. I was running out of time and I figure they just rip them open anyways. I also made a bunch of Christmas cards for teachers and bus drivers.
I just love how these turned out. So simple but so elegant looking. You guys know how I feel about the Stitched Shape Framelits..lol. These are my favorite Framelits I have purchased through Stampin Up and they are still unavailable to order but it looks like they will be available around the 18th of January. I also have a few new stamp sets from the new occasion and Sale-A-Bration catalog that I have yet to play with. I cant wait to make some things with these. I have also used Greetings from Santa Stamp Set ALOT this season. I really loved this one. This one is on sale right now too and only available through January 3, 2017, so if you like it you should get it while you can.

I had plans to make some homemade gifts for all the girls that I take POUND class with and I’m so bummed out I just ran out of time. Oh well, thats life I guess. I hope you guys all have a great rest of your day. Try not to get caught up in the stress that the holidays can bring. Don’t forget to take some time for you I know that’s easier said than done. I am going to get myself a planner for the upcoming year and start scheduling things. I think it will make me a more productive person. I will let you guys know how that works for me. Happy Thursday!!!!
Chris, those cards are so cute!! Did you post them on Pinkstampers FB page yet? You really should, it would be great for everyone to enjoy them!!
The homework thing during vacation is a mystery to me. Do you know that my granddaughter's teacher gave her a whole folder full of homework for her week in NY with us? She spent a bit of each day doing it there was no way she do finish it all in one sitting. I was amazed and not happy about that. And another thing; (for kindergarten) it seemed to be asking too much for the kid to bring back pictures when she returned to share with the class. I literally had to go to the Walmart website to print up pics and get my son to pick them up in California so Kiera would have them Tuesday morning. In fact, I just chose the "poster collage" option so my granddaughter could just point at pics and talk about them easily. It was only 3.86 for a big 11 x 16 poster and was in the 'one hour photo' section.
Thanks for sharing this stuff, I love seeing what your kids are doing and the things you are creating! 🙂
Thanks Deborah
I really loved how those cards turned out. I did not share and I should of. I am frustrated with the homework on vacation. Its crazy how much pressure the schools put on our children. My son has been playing and enjoying time spent with family. His teacher will get a note from me explaining we did not have time for homework over break and he will work on it the week he is back in school.
I love the poster collage idea. Thats great for the kids too nice and simple. Thats for sharing that I will probably use that option sometime down the road.
